Program Operator: communiti.life, PBC
This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Communiti SMS (text message) program — the text messages Communiti sends on behalf of the churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations that use our platform, to people who have opted in to receive them.
Information We Collect
For the SMS program we collect only what is needed to deliver the messages you asked to receive:
- Your mobile phone number.
- Your opt-in record — which organization’s list you joined, and the date, time, and method of your consent.
- Your message preferences — which categories of messages you chose and which channels (text, voice, or email) you selected.
How We Use Your Information
Your mobile phone number and opt-in record are used solely to deliver the SMS messages you opted in to receive from the specific organization whose list you joined, and to honor your STOP/HELP requests. We do not use your mobile information for any other purpose.
How We Share Your Information
We share your mobile information in only two ways, both necessary to deliver the messages you consented to:
- With the specific organization whose messaging list you opted in to.
- With Twilio, our messaging service provider, solely to transmit the text and voice messages you have opted in to receive.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or lease your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent.
Your Choices
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that list at any time. You will receive one final confirmation and no further messages from that list.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@communiti.life.
- Message frequency varies by organization (typically 1–10 messages per week). Msg & Data Rates May Apply.
